What the Frak is Selma Hayek Wearing?

I expect to see t-shirts for genre shows on Big Bang Theory. (There is even a web site that sells the types of shirts worn on the show.) I didn’t expect to see Salma Hayek wearing a Battlestar Galactica shirt on 30 Rock last night (picture above).

    30 Rock is notorious for poking fun at product placement (even as they do it). You might remember that they did this with Snapple in a previous season when Liz Lemon praised Snapple, drank some, and then looked at the camera and said, “Can we have our money now?” Clearly, they were poking fun at shameless plugs last night in a similar fashion. (And that’s likely why Hayek didn’t wear the shirt until after Galactica’s run had ended.) That also explains why not only did Hayek wear the shirt, she also pointed out that she was wearing it when she said something like, “Forgive me for wearing such a casual shirt during such an important conversation.”
