Obama Takes Pennsylvania

NBC News and ABC News project Barack Obama will win in Pennsylvania. This cuts off John McCain’s attempt to make up for red states expected to flip to Obama, making it very unlikely he can still win.

Earlier Howard Fineman was on MSNBC saying that the use of Rev. Wright in ads by the Republican Party resulted in a backlash against John McCain, increasing black turn out.

    Mike Butcher says:

The use of Reverend Wright late in the campaign shows how inept this campaign has been. After months of hearing about Rev. Wright not resonating with the electorate what could possibly make them decide it would help now. This was a winnable campaign and they have done everything possible to make sure they lost it.

The only hope now is to hang on to enough Senators to allow Obama to avoid succumbing to the pressures from the extremes of the Democratic party.
