George Bush promises a “”better and more effective response” to hurricanes one year after Katrina.
In related news, George Bush promises increased security at Pearl Harbor in case of another attack from Japan, a rapid rescue attempt should the Titanic sink again, and promises not to sit around reading a children’s book should the World Trade Center be attacked by terrorists again.

Is Bush going to get the people responsible for attacking Pearl Harbor too? Uh oh.. Watch out Canada, you’re toast.
Now Dave you’re being too hard on him. Give Bush a full year and he has a good shot of figuring out a the right response. Hey, he even admitted that Saddam wasn’t responsible for 9/11. Ok, that one took almost five years.
Ron is right, Dave. George IS learning. Give us another 500 years and he might be brought to consciousness. What does it matter that the world, as we know it, will have ended by then? We will have witnessed the near enlightment of one being!
As Spock said, “The needs of the one outweight the needs of the many.”
(Maybe what Spock it was other way around… but whatever, Boy George is WAY more important than the rest of the world put together. Just ask Babs.)
