Those politicians are quite adept at manipulating public opinion, and the media machine of those politicians, Fox News, is one of the most successful propaganda outlets that has ever existed. Where else can people be manipulated into screaming against something that is ultimately in their best interest? We are the only industrialized nation where one illness could financially destroy you.
