But Gilmore Girls, oh, I miss the writers. There seems to be little joy, with the exception of the Zack/Lane/Lane's Mother storyline, which I love and is the only light left in the series for me. IMO, it's almost criminal to take a series this good and then decide not to pay the writers/producers or actors what they're worth (after they've created a hit for the network!) and so doom the end of the story to junk. But that's television. Same thing happened to La Femme Nikita. Lovely, dark series that totally jumped the shark by the end. At least the producers went on to create "24."
