Ron, have you found the link(s) the full transcript of this Reno Gazette-Journal + Barack Obama interview that the Klintons and the Republicans are talking smack about. I want to lay this canard to rest, but I need the complete textual transcript in order to do it.

But seriously, the more I hear Obama, the more I think that he “gets it.” His answer to the question about his top three priorities was excellent. I agree 100% – Iraq, health care, energy/environment. Let’s get it done.

Another liberal here who got it. It’s true that Reagan made significant, fundamental changes by tapping into the pulse of America moreso than recent presidents. I don’t think Obama is praising Reagan for the changes he made, rather he is acknowledging that Reagan did what the others did not do.

In that vein, Obama is saying he wants to make significant, fundamental changes HIS way by tapping into the pulse of America.

Eric,

The ADA is not Marxist. Their rankings are along party line votes, and most Democrats receive a high score and most Republicans receive a low score. Obama wasn’t talking about policy decisions when discussing Reagan, so your comment on the score Reagan would achieve is not relevant to his comment.

If the Club for Growth tried such a headline they’d be as factually incorrect as you are. As I pointed out the last time you made this claim, Obama did not receive a “perfect 100 score” from the ADA and the score certainly isn’t from a Marxist group.

Very clever indeed. A man with a perfect 100 score from the Marxist ADA now compares himself to Ronald Reagan. Does he really think voters are that stupid?

When the ads from Club for Growth hit with the blaring headline: “Obama’s perfect 100 score from a Marxist group – the Americans for Democrat Action” does he think voters will just discount his seeming hypocrisy?

Would Reagan have achieved a 100 score from the ADA?
