That's total nonsense. You need to look at the facts as opposed to playing your usual partisan games of rewriting history and making up facts to back your party.

First of all, this specific information was not available until after Clinton was out of office. However, the Clinton administration did try to go after al Qaeda, but the Republican Congress blocked him. The Clinton administration also passed on plans to the Bush administration for taking action against al Qaeda, and the Bush administration ignored this advice.

Secondly, when the Clinton administration received information on potential terrorist threats, such as the Millenium threats, they took action and prevented the attacks.

Thirdly, the left most certainlhy would not have fought any attempts to stop such a terrorist attack. After all, this is the sort of thing John Kerry has recommended--including in his warnings on terrorism published before 9/11.

And Bill Clinton, who had the same information, NEVER did.

And what would the reaction of the left had been, had GWB tried to do as your hindsight now suggests he should have? You know they'd have fought him tooth and nail, based on supposed 'rights' issues.
