I've never been actively anti-Edwards but I've never been pro-Edwards either.   I'd say that Edwards should be more offended/insulted than Palin, and that's because whatever you think of him at least he isn't an idiot or a religious whackjob who has hands laid on her by a witch-hunter before running for vice-president. That's my personal lack of regard for Palin showing, I guess.   They are also completely different in another way. Edwards' political career has been forcibly ended by a major scandal. None of the plethora of scandals or short-comings surrounding Sarah Palin have hurt her at all with the people who feel she is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Indeed, they deny there are any scandals. Edwards' nearest and dearest supporters would probably not donate money to a campaign for city council now.   Perhaps that says more about Edwards' and Palin's supporters than them, but it's surely a big difference all the same.   ‘I’m just not sure which of the two should feel more insulted by being lumped with the other.’
