    Jon Stewart does a nightly comedy show which is a fake newscast. He does a satirical look at the news and then interviews with real people.

    He is highly popular with younger people, in contrast to the fake newscasts which are on Fox all day and more generally watched by older people. While Stewart openly describes his show as fake news while Fox pretends they are a real news network, there have been a few surveys which compared knowledge from people who say Jon Stewart is their main source of news compared to those who cite Fox and other sources. Typically those who cite Stewart as their top news source do far better than those who cite Fox.

    Those who watch Stewart have done far better at getting correct answers to basic questions on government and current events on several surveys over the years.
