Did you see that <a href=”http://liberalvaluesvoter.wordpress.com/2013/01/24/war-against-reproductive-rights-new-mexico-bill-would-criminalize-abortion-after-rape/”>a politician in New Mexico introduced a bill today that would criminalize abortion after rape on the grounds abortion “tampers with evidence” of the rape</a>?
It is a matter of individual liberty like you said, but Republicans (and some Democrats) can’t argue against it rationally so they have to resort to emotional and illogical arguments.
