Why don’t we just call Paul Ryan’s Republican budget proposal The Banana Republic Budget because that it what it would turn the United States into?
This was one of my Facebook status updates yesterday. One of the comments was: “It wouldn’t be quite so bad if I could grow some bananas here to live on…… :)”
My response: “If you could grow bananas the Republicans would take them away to give to millionaires who don’t grow their own.”
