Pelosi’s Charges of Nazi References At Health Reform Protests Confirmed

Obama swastica

The right wing blogs have been attacking Nancy Pelosi for noting that some of the right wingers protesting health care reform have been using Swastikas. Despite the attacks from the right, Sam Stein has provided documentation of the use of Nazi references to attack Obama and the idea of health care reform, including the above picture. Their argument clearly makes no sense, and pointing this out is of questionable significance as nuts from both the left and right can always be found protesting, but Pelosi is right about this.

I find myself wondering if any of the seniors in the photo would willingly give up their Medicare if told the program was being eliminated.

At least they realize Medicare is a government program–unlike all the people who are happy with their Medicare but speak out against government involvement in health care (including Medicare).

I was just reading an article on exactly this.. I cant believe how ignorant these people are.. Racism is definitely not gone.. That is all this birther and protesting crap is about.. Scared white people that have been shown an avenue to direct their confusion and anger by Conservatives who share their same fears..

Personally if I were one of the protesters i would have replaced the swastika with the sickle and hammer of the old Soviet Union makes more sense to use a communist symbol to identify a socialist type plan than a nazi symbol that means the exact opposite

Socialist plan? There is nothing socialistic about the health care plan. The plan is set up to preserve profits for private insurance companies and the pharmaceutical companies, will result in more people under private insurance than at present, and preserve the private practice of medicine. It makes no sense to use either Communist or Fascist symbols.

Well of course it doesn’t, but you got to remember these are people who think our city parks are “socialist tyranny”  They’re not mentally stable AT ALL

I own a very small call center business. One of the products I sell is a book about welfare and government grants. Approximately 70% of the calls for this item are from ‘red states.’ Which means, statistically speaking, a significant portion of my callers to purchase this book because of their desperation to get help vote to prevent the government from helping anyone… including them.

    It’s a mad world.
