Several blogs have posted the above picture. Ann Althouse gives her impressions. Ever since her bizarre comments on a female blogger’s breasts in a photo with Bill Clinton I have known to be wary of her views related to female body parts. Checking out the video of the event provides a totally different interpretation than the one given by Althouse (or the initial assumptions of others who have glanced at the above picture):

After viewing the video, Obama looks innocent but I’m not so sure about Sarkozy.
I think she should have been wearing heels.
And Sarkozy is, well, French.
Not to sound like our favorite darling, one shot like this can put the wrong spin on an event. But in viewing the video one gets the full picture as it’s happening. Personally, I think it’s pretty funny and ten to one, so does Obama.
I linked to Althouse’s post. Her comments are bad enough but the comments that follow are unbelievable. They’re scary in their ignorance.
“They’re scary in their ignorance.”
Scary is being awefully nice of you Leslie… lol
Silly, Professor Althouse was not commenting on Mayara Tavares’ quite nice, albeit very illegal, ass. The Professsor, was commenting on the Gawkers. Obama and Sarkozy. The turn about was fair play.
If fact, I can see this as an Olympic sport. The men gawk, and the women rate the gawking. Obviously the one needs some lessons.
As for Tavares if she wasn’t being gawked at, her dress wasn’t thin enough for purposes.
We are aware that she was commenting on the alleged gawkers. (The title isn’t clear in order to find an excuse to tie it into the previous posts.)
The video shows Althouse was wrong in saying that Obama was gawking (as she was wrong in her assessment in the other posts linked). He was turning around to help someone else down the steps and was caught at a moment which gives a false impression.
