Which governor of a border state is a beauty pageant winner, is a sports mom with children living at home, and is preparing for a debate this week?
Two governors fit this description so far. Which one has not been blessed to be free from witchcraft?
The answer is under the fold.
The answer is Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm, who is playing the role of Sarah Palin in practice debates with Joe Biden in preparation for the vice presidential debate. I wonder if she has been watching Tiny Fey for ideas on pretending to be Palin.
Despite these similarities there are major differences, both in ideology and in experience before becoming governor. Granholm graduated from UC-Berkeley and Harvard Law School, clerked for U.S. Judge Damon Keith on the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals before becoming an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan, and then the state’s Attorney General.
