The Case For Obama

Here is one hard working blogger. ShadowSD has a post at Daily Kos which gives a very detailed view of the case for Obama over McCain. This is only his quick “bullet point summary.” The full post provides far more information. I’ll be adding it to the reference list over on the right.

    Eric D. Rittberg says:

The problem for John McCain all along is that he wasn’t enough like Bush.  Conservatives and even many libertarians were deeply suspicious of him, cause he tended to the Centrist side of the political spectrum.  Only now that he has chosen a libertarian-conservative as his running mate are Rightwings warming up to him.  He would have gotten creamed without Palin.  Cause the vast majority of libertarians, and big numbers of conservatives were planning to vote for Libertarian Bob Barr.

    Ron Chusid says:

There’s nothing libertarian about McCain-Palin, but you are partially correct here. Picking Palin will ensure that the authoritarian right turns out in higher numbers. This will keep McCain from losing in a landslide, but as Palin’s negatives become better known it could also keep him from being able to win the election.
