This comes as a tremendous relief (sarcasm). It has been established that Barack Obama is not the antichrist. The authors of the Left Behind series have evaluated Obama and found he is definitely not the antichrist. Christian Newswire reports:
John McCain’s campaign ad “The One” has generated a lot of buzz regarding the “Left Behind Series.” Political commentators are comparing McCain’s portrayal of competitor Barack Obama with the blockbuster apocalyptic series’ depiction of the antichrist. But even the series authors Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins don’t think Obama is the antichrist. What may have been created as a farce has generated a firestorm of controversy on the internet.
LaHaye and Jenkins take a literal interpretation of prophecies found in the Book of Revelation. They believe the antichrist will surface on the world stage at some point, but neither see Obama in that role. “I’ve gotten a lot of questions the last few weeks asking if Obama is the antichrist,” says novelist Jenkins. “I tell everyone that I don’t think the antichrist will come out of politics, especially American politics.”
“I can see by the language he uses why people think he could be the antichrist,” adds LaHaye, “but from my reading of scripture, he doesn’t meet the criteria. There is no indication in the Bible that the antichrist will be an American.”
Jenkins and LaHaye don’t take McCain’s commercial or the antichrist speculation over Obama too seriously.
Pundits have pointed out that there are similarities between the “Left Behind Series” character Nicolae Carpathia and Obama. Other than some vocabulary and charisma, Carpathia, a young Romanian politician who eventually oversees a one-world government, and Obama don’t have much in common. “If even the people who created the character Nicolae Carpathia don’t see the comparisons as warranted, then perhaps this is overblown,” says Jenkins.
This is certainly reassuring, but then I’ve always thought that George Bush was the Antichrist. (Hat tip to Outside the Beltway)

Well… at least they haven’t called him the Boogyman – yet! Black males have been demonized throughout American history. Unfortunately, I think we brothas become immune, but enjoy proving such attacks absurd.
Example. The U.S. military issued propaganda to spread rumors to suggest that Black American male soldiers were half human and half ape/monkey…They even went so far as to suggest that these Black American soldiers possessed monkey tails under their uniforms!!! By promoting these vicious and unfounded lies the guilty parties thought that they would scare White European women from seeking these “savages”…But like the old saying goes curiosity is what killed the cat and in this case that is what literally happened!!!
Now, think about John McCains recent ad that states, “hot chicks love Obama;” what’s the political correlation? Absolutley none – except to instill FEAR. I hope this tidbit was helpful
In my experience with God and the bible I can reassure you that the antichrist will not be american. It says that the antichrist will have origin in the middle east! And why hasn’t Obama hisself defended the title of being the antichrist? Noone exactly knows who or when the antichrist will show hisself, but I do know abt the bible-he does fit the criteria…The Bible says that the antichrist will be a “god like figure”, people will call him god, he will be a “smooth talker”, have no sons, claim to have a better way, and etc. Now I am not God so I dont know the exact answers but I do know it’s better to be safe than sorry. Also, I can reassure you that I have thought this before “the one” ad was published, and what better way to reach people by american politics? America reaches out to all countries, so why not? America is where everone wants to be, and America has so much more power than most countries.The antichrist would want power and lots of it, and I feel from the depths of my soul that is Obama. And in my honest opinion, the left behind series was bogus. Yes, it made some good points but they also left out a few minor details and also added a few I believe. And besides- Left behind is a movie, not the bible. Movies are always overrated even if they are a true story. They always make up extra things to go in it to please the movie veiwers. My grandfather is a Holiness preacher and I’ve talked to him about a few of the topics that everyone seems to be talking about, and even if Obama isn’t the antichrist the real one will appear soon. In Revelations 13:4 it says ” Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast” So in my opinion the antichrist will have great authority…America could be that great authority! i honestly don’t know much about the topic but from what i have read if Obama is the antichrist then in a way we who do believe in God should have no fear. Only because it says in the bible that God will save us. It also says that the he will be a smooth talker and fool us all, and who is pointing the finger. McCain is who all the Christians are voting for and who all the Christians believe. i don’t think that Obama is the antichrist but i do think that he is coming soon and Obama is most likely unknowingly paving a smooth path for him.

McCain is NOT “who all the Christians are voting for!”
All the speculation is pointless about “Is he, Isn’t he?” I feel that if, or when, Obama begins pulling off impossible feats – world peace, balancing our country’s deficits, solving domestic issues, and making all of our problems go away – then you should get concerned. I believe in God and I have put my faith in what the Bible states about the Antichrist – he will be revealed in due time and when the world has no other hope. In the end, my soul is at peace with Jesus Christ, as are my kids and sister. I would like to challenge everyone who reads this, to study the Bible, the prophecies, and take note of what the world looks like at this point in time. My savior is in heaven- and when a living man stands up from an existing world government and brings a false sense of hope and impossible promises, I will know then. Whether it is Obama, or a yet unknown person, I will know my time on this earth is short. God bless you all.
Im not a bible wiz by any means ill i have to say is if your a christan you have no worries now for Obama being the antichrist I dont think so I highly doubt he will rise in America due to the fact in Bible times America was a unnamed unknown country also i believe the antichrist will be middle-eastern
Also the anti-christ will not desire women well obama he has a wife and people will never label the antichrist and people have already labeled Obama the antichrist he has been labeled that thousands of times
