I wonder if Mr. Huckabee would cry foul to extend his logic a bit farther and say that the founding clergy...err, fathers....no, not the Papist kind...were terrifically confused about these rights since they did not extend them to anyone whose color of their skin was not white? If they could not bother to give those rights to the multitude in their own midsts, how could they think of having the rights of fetuses in mind? Maybe because Huckabee's editor saw "right to life" in the phrase and thought, THAT'S what they meant! Well done.
